We are always very pleased to hear from other organisations interested in furthering intercultural dialogue between Zambia and the UK and promoting music making in Zambia. We hope to work side-by-side with organisations, bringing expertise from different areas together.
Here is whom we have previously worked with:
In the summer of 2014 we were delighted to work the The Estelle Trust, a UK-registered charity which has a range of interests in education and social development, on our first student placement programme. The lessons we learnt from this trip have informed subsequent programmes and have contributed to our growing work in Zambia.
The Butterfly Tree
For two years, we have collaborated with The Butterfly Tree, a UK-registered charity that supports the community of Mukuni village in the South Zambia with education, sanitation, HIV prevention and key infrastructure. Our first projects saw two music postgraduate students spend four days working with music leaders in Mukuni on a basic form of music notation which could be used to record songs.
